Defining Lifecycle Continuity
Lifecycle continuity can easily be mistaken for visibility, speed, efficiency, compliance or technology. The harder question is what makes a supply chain genuinely continuous rather than merely observable, fast or digitised.
Continuity exists when organisations can understand, control and act on lifecycle states as products, materials, orders, services, assets and obligations move through the supply chain. Physical flow, information flow, responsibility flow and decision flow must remain aligned.
An intuitive idea becomes a precise operating concept that can be mapped, measured and redesigned.
